My client , a large independent Chartered Accountancy practice with smart modern offices in a pleasant location in East Sussex, seeks a Senior Taxation Manager, ideally CTA qualified with good general knowledge and understanding of audit and accountancy issues. The STEP qualification, or an interest in studying for it, would also be welcomed. Responsibilities to include management and growth of own portfolio of clients; undertaking high level advisory work on behalf of the Partners; Managing and developing the existing tax department including planning, controlling and reviewing work carried out by team members and ensuring work is completed accurately within time frames and budget; growth and development of the consultancy side of the business. This is a high profile role and the person appointed will possess excellent commercial awareness, communication, presentation and people management skills.
