Our client is looking for a "Senior Social Work Practitioner in Broadfields near Crawley to work as a member of the Children & Family Centre Team to supervise referral, case allocation and case management of a team, undertaking parenting assessments and interventions including group work and 1:1 support.


The purpose of the role is to lead the team that provides direct 1:1 and group based support for families as part of a programme of targeted activities, within the Children & Family Centre and the wider community.

To offer social work input to the wider Children & Family Centre team and develop the professional practice of Social Workers, Family Support Workers and Family Outreach Workers, whilst managing referral allocations to the family support team.

 

The hours of work are 37 hours per week.

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience of working with young children and/or families

You must already hold a relevant Social Work Qualification Dip SW, CQSE or equivalent and be GSCC registered.
