This prestigious and well known Hotel requires a commercially equipped Director of Finance to control financial, commercial and business input into the management of the hotel operation, ensuring that financial standards are achieved throughout the hotel and that hotel performance is optimised.
Duties to include:
*In conjunction with the General Manager, providing full and accurate forecasting and budgeting proposals within the hotel.
*In conjunction with the General Manager, ensuring the achievement of all financial targets within the hotel.
*Provision of timely and accurate financial statements.
*Ensuring all financial regulations are met, through the maintenance of adequate systems of internal control.
*Preparing capital reviews as required by the General Manager and / or Accountancy & Finance Department.
*Training and development of local Finance staff, and ensuring accurate succession planning.
*Building the financial awareness of local management teams.
Successful applicants will be CCAB qualified accountants who possess excellent financial management experience, strong managerial / coaching skills and ideally previous experience of working within the hotel or leisure industry would be advantageous.
