SPECIALIST ADVISOR (PLANNING)  As a member of the Specialist Advisory Team, you will be providing customer focused specialist advice on planning applications, and you will be managing complex applications and enforcement cases.

With previous experience in planning and development control, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and working towards or be eligible for membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

You will have good communication and interpersonal skills, a good understanding of Planning law and the ability to meet deadlines.

If you need to move home to take up this post, the Council may be able to offer you some assistance with relocation. The type of assistance will depend on your circumstances and extends to a limit of £7,950. Details will be supplied to the appointee.
