Starting: September 2014 St John's Meads Church of England Primary School is looking for a highly motivated, inspirational and innovative KS2 teacher to join our happy committed team; we are looking for an individual who would like to develop middle management skills. You should have high expectations of yourself and all pupils, and be willing to join in fully with our Christian ethos. The post is part of the St John's Meads and East Hoathly partnership development programme and will provide an exciting opportunity for a teacher to develop their subject leadership expertise across both schools; they will also contribute to the work of the Senior Management Team. Precise responsibilities will be dependent on the successful candidate's skills, experience and interests. We are looking for an experienced KS2 teacher who: is an exceptional classroom practitioner with the ability to inspire learners and colleagues; has high expectations of children's learning and behaviour; has a strong commitment to raising pupil achievement; demonstrates strong organisational skills and the ability to analyse data to support pupil progress; has knowledge and experience of assessment for learning; will lead an area of the curriculum; We can offer you: The opportunity to work in a fantastic school, situated in a beautiful part of Eastbourne near to the sea and Downs.
