We are working in partnership with Eastbourne & Wealden YMCA in this exciting opportunity to establish and develop a new community counselling service based at Charlie's Youth Centre in Eastbourne. The service will offer counselling to young people aged 16 to 25.

All applicants must hold a Diploma in Counselling (post graduate or equivalent), be more than 2 years post qualified, be eligible for accreditation or be accredited by BACP/other recognised body, and experienced in counselling young people who might be considered challenging or vulnerable. It is intended to develop the service in the first year with placements offered to Honorary Counsellors and there will be a requirement on the Post holder to offer clinical supervision to those volunteers.

It is likely the 8 hours will be split over two afternoons/evenings a week.

Interviews will be held at Charlie's Youth Centre on Thursday 8th May 2014.
