Our client is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager who has a proven ability in fine dining, volume operations to work in this stunning hotel and restaurant. The property is a busy hotel and weddings venue and requires a focused individual to manage all aspects of the restaurant operation on site. The Restaurant focuses on simple and delicious food, using good quality seasonal and locally sourced produce from Lewes and the county of Sussex. High standards and excellent team management skills are required.
The Role
As a Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the management of all restaurant staff, assisting with their development. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and customer service, but also have a solid knowledge of departmental management; including stock controls, health and safety; and staff management. This role requires a Restaurant Manager with the relevant restaurant background, as well as hotel experience.

• The ideal Restaurant Manager will have worked within quality 4*/5* Hotels and Restaurant
• Sound knowledge of wines
• Cost orientated
• Forward thinking person, who will bring innovative ideas to the business
• The successful Restaurant Manager will have at least 2 / 3 years within a similar operation

Hours of work are 5 out of 7, straight shifts. Because of the location you must be driver with your own car.
