Our client is a well-established firm of accountants in Eastbourne. Practice experience is essential for this role.

The Role

• Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Completion of sole trader and limited company accounts
• Completion of VAT returns
• Completion of self assessment tax returns
• Completion of corporation tax returns
• Completion of management accounts
• Corresponding with clients
• Confidently and professionally deal with clients on the telephone and face-to-face
• Manage workload to meet key deadlines each week/month.
• Comfortable working on routine tasks
• Aim to meet/exceed your personal targets each month
• Participate in team meetings
• Attend training sessions when necessary to improve your knowledge and keep up to date of changes in the accounting industry
• Intermediate to Advanced use of Excel and Word
• Adhoc duties

 

The Person

• Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
• Part qualified Accountant/Senior Accountant
• Experience working for an accountancy firm.
• Use of Sage Line 50 and/or QuickBooks is essential.
