CUSTOMER ADVISOR Customer Advisors are the first point of contact for customers of the Council. You will be the face and voice of the Customer First team. As a Customer Advisor you will be a member of a multi-skilled customer service team, proactively managing and resolving a wide range of customer requests through multiple channels: face to face, phone, letter, email and online. You will be making a rapid assessment of the best next step and helping customers to get any support they need without having to tell their story again and again. You will be supporting and encouraging customers to use our new 24/7 digital channels, resulting in a faster, simpler and more responsive customer journey. In this demanding role you be a team player with good communication skills, personal resilience and experience of working within a customer facing environment dealing with complex or sensitive enquiries. You will be confident in retrieving and interpreting information from computerised databases.
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, worked between 08:15 - 17:45 hours Monday to Friday on a rota basis Fixed term for: 12 months
