PROMOTIONS AND E-MARKETING OFFICER Eastbourne is one of the UK's leading tourist resorts, with tourism worth over £343m to the local economy. Our dynamic marketing is vital to this industry and this busy role is key to the continued success of the Marketing and PR Team. You will be responsible for co-ordinating Visit Eastbourne's social media presence on all main social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), leading on social media campaigns, researching current and potential new social media opportunities and monitoring impact and effectiveness. You will be able to spot and react to conversation starters to engage and grow audiences, raising the profile of Eastbourne as a tourist destination. With a proven track record of devising and implementing successful social media campaigns, you will have demonstrable experience of content creation both on and offline. Together with up-to-date knowledge of media communications channels and e-marketing techniques, you will have an understanding of social media management tools such as Hootsuite and how social media marries with PR and Marketing activity. Having excellent writing skills, particularly blogs, e-newsletters and press releases, you will also be a creative thinker, self-motivated and able to deliver to deadlines.
