We are looking to appoint an experienced and self motivated Behaviour Support Worker to join our Behaviour Team. The successful applicant will support our behaviour systems by applying necessary behaviour management skills to encourage pupils to make the right choices in support of their learning. You will work alongside our Inclusion Manager and Learning Mentor and relevant outside agencies. You will be proactive and provide an 'on call' service, effectively deal with behavioural incidents, identify and report on behavioural trends and deliver behaviour interventions. For this challenging and rewarding role, applicants will need to demonstrate that they possess highly developed people skills, confidence and emotional resilience. They will be able to defuse and not escalate challenging behaviour and be able to work within a team whilst being able to use their own judgements. They will be able to recognise individual support needs and undertake proactive work with pupils.
