Locality & Social Work Family Assessment
Working to the Family Support Teams, our Administrative Support Officers play a key role in supporting the social work locality teams. Helping provide a better service to the people of East Sussex. Service delivery is front line so reactive, fast paced and varied, but we will make sure you get all the training and support you need to succeed. The duties and tasks include note taking for complex strategy and professionals meetings, arranging supervised client contact, preparing specialist reports and daily use of Carefirst database. The successful candidate will provide administrative duties and tasks to the Practice Managers, Senior Practitioners and Social Workers. This post will require good organisational skills and personal qualities to cope with the demands for working to both allocated workloads and demonstrate flexibility to cover across administrative teams, working with service users and a client customer centre approach for child in need, child protection and looked after cases. The ability to communicate clearly, factually and appropriately both verbally and in writing is essential.
