We are looking to appoint a technician to provide technical support as well as undertaking a practical health and safety role, largely within our busy and successful Science Department. You will be able to work alone using your own initiative, but also have the ability to be a team player and should be willing to be flexible with regard to your duties.  You will also need to be able to work well under pressure, responding pro-actively to unexpected problems and situations, and have the ability to establish positive relationships with students. A Science qualification (or similar), basic knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, and/or previous experience of working in a school setting, would be an advantage.
