An exciting opportunity has arisen for two part-time posts in the Older Peoples Mental Health Service to cover maternity leave and staff secondment. These posts will be based at St Mary's House, Eastbourne however you will expected to travel to other parts of the county as part of your role.

These posts would be ideal for either social workers, resource officers or for those currently working in a mental health care setting wishing to gain some experience of mental health social work. 

You will work with older people with severe and enduring mental health problems, although primarily this will be clients with Dementia.  You will undertake social care assessments; complete support plans with clients and carers and may participate in safeguarding investigations.

In return for your commitment you will receive regular supervision and support with developmental opportunities.
