We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person to develop their experience in planning policy work. Working within the Specialist Advisory team, you will be involved in :-

·         preparation of planning policy and evidence based documents   ·         quarterly monitoring of residential and commercial development

·         representing the Council on stakeholder groups

·         providing planning policy responses on planning applications and external consultations

·         assisting with the delivery of planning related projects.

Educated to A level standard or equivalent you will have experience in planning policy. You will also have good communication skills and be computer literate.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata as this position is part time.  The pro rata salary range is £8642 - £11725 per annum for 15 hours per week.  Salary on appointment will be dependant on qualifications and experience.  This role has been categorised as flexible which means that work may be undertaken at our 1 Grove Road offices, off site locations and your home workstation.
