We are looking to appoint an ICT Technician to work at Willingdon Primary School. The technician will provide technical support across the school to include the creation and maintenance of user permissions. You will be responsible for installing and testing new ICT equipment as well as diagnosing basic network software and hardware faults. We work closely with our local secondary school that provides additional technical support and advice. You should be flexible and on occasions be prepared to work outside of normal hours if required (notice will be given). You should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills and be able to work using your own initiative or as part of a team. You should be able to demonstrate knowledge of ICT technologies both hardware and software including a range of faults and general maintenance. Knowledge of PC Office Systems is essential whilst knowledge of SIMS and website design would be desirable. The job is for 17.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 12pm. As this job is part time the salary is pro rata.
