Project Search is a supported internship programme for young people aged 19 to 24 who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities. This is an exciting pilot which will create a Pathway to Employment for young adults who need additional support and training before they enter the world of work.  Key to the success of the programme is the partnership between Sussex Downs College, Eastbourne District General Hospital (the host provider) and ChoicES Supported Employment Agency. The Project SEARCH Job Coaches will support the Programme Co-ordinator to ensure that all of the interns receive high quality support whilst they are on their work placements in the hospital.  This is a new full-time post which will not only be challenging and demanding but most importantly, rewarding. You will play a key role in identifying and raising the aspirations of young people, their families and local businesses.
