Lecturer in Fashion and Textiles Hours: Part time Salary:£11,924 - £16,976 per annum A vacancy has arisen for a 0.5 FTE Lecturer in Fashion and Textiles (with options for additional teaching) to join the highly successful art and design department at the Eastbourne campus, starting in January 2015. The successful candidate will teach on a range of full-time programmes up to Foundation Art and Design, and will contribute to the development and delivery of the fashion and textiles curriculum. Applicants should be suitably qualified (at least to first degree in a related subject) and either possess or undertake an appropriate teaching qualification; industry experience and experience of teaching and assessment of specialist students at this level would be an advantage.  Applications from those with a fashion or constructed textiles background are especially welcome.  This post is subject to a DBS check.
