East Sussex Standards and Learning Effectiveness Service (SLES) is looking to recruit an Advisory Headteacher, to join their successful school improvement team. Based in the beautiful county of East Sussex the service offers school improvement and training opportunities to a wide range of schools, academies, colleges and settings. You will have primary school expertise and will be deployed to work in schools across the county that are requiring interim headship arrangements, often as a result of unsuccessful recruitment processes or when schools require executive headteachers following an unfavourable Ofsted inspection. You will provide additional capacity and expertise to senior leadership teams in schools in challenging circumstances. During the course of the year this may involve work in more than one school.  In addition, you will also be part of the wider SLES team and contribute to both team meetings and staff development where appropriate.   Please note this post is on the Leadership Pay Range L18 - L24.
