Hours37 hours per week £15.882 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to provide administrative support to the Community Risk Management Team based at Service Headquarters in Eastbourne The successful candidate will provide quality administrative support through the prioritisation and management of variable workloads within tight deadlines. The post holder will possess excellent communication and numerical skills with the ability to work unsupervised, and will possess previous experience of working within an office environment providing administrative support. Specific duties will include: • Providing quality administrative support to the Community Fire Safety Team (CFST) including support of Home Fire Safety Visits. • Liaising with other Directorates and Departments to obtain information relevant to the delivery of CFST and Community Risk Management (CRM) Services, and to respond to reciprocal requests. • Providing support, including Diary management, to members of the CFST and where required the Community Safety Department (CSD). • Receiving and processing enquiries from Members of the Public, including vulnerable persons, requesting Home Safety Visits. • Maintaining supplies and stocks for CFST and other CSD Teams as required. • Maintaining attendance, leave and personal records as directed Applicants must be educated to GCSE Level or equivalent, possess RSA level 2 or equivalent in typing and have good working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Access.
