An Eastbourne based firm of chartered accountants is looking for an AAT Qualified Accounts professional to join their team.

Currently working for a firm of accountants, you may see this opportunity as a move to a larger firm (10+ partners) or for an opportunity to work in a more collaborative and supportive environment.

About you:

* AAT qualified (or similar) with experience in this area
* Experience of the ideally gained within a small to medium sized firm
* First class presentation and communication skills
* Client focused on delivering a first class service
* Ability to prioritise and manage workloads to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
* Be organised, methodical and detail conscious whilst remaining commercially aware
* Knowledge of companies accounts disclosure requirements
* Some knowledge of Payroll / PAYE would be beneficial

About the role:

* Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
* Completion of personal and partnership tax returns and corporate returns CT600
* Preparation of VAT Returns and Control Accounts
* Production of final package for review with manager / partner, i.e. accounts, tax returns, correspondence and fee
