One of the UK's top legal 200 law firms is looking to attract an ambitious and experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their Probate Trusts & Wills team, to be based at their Eastbourne office, just a short walk from the train station.

About You:

* Ideally have a minimum of 2 years PQE as a Solicitor or Legal Executive, or equivalent expertise, skills and experience in a range of PTW areas
* Have excellent technical skills in relevant work areas
* High standard of interpersonal and communication skills
* Flexibility and willingness to provide support as required to Partners and staff within the office
* Marketing and networking skills are essential in order to participate actively in seeking new business, building relationships with potential clients and developing the firm as a whole

About the role:

* Involved in managing various wills, probate, power of attorney and Court of Protection matters for a range of private clients
* Involved in drafting wills, managing probates, preparing applications to the Court of Protection, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and handling General Affairs files.
* Ensure all client work is processed correctly and that the client is kept regularly informed of progress and costs
* Monitor workloads, performance and compliance with the firm's procedures within your area of responsibility
