We are looking to appoint a dynamic and highly motivated Business Manager.

Shinewater Primary and Nursery School has 450 pupils currently on roll and is in the Langney district of Eastbourne. We are a vibrant and enthusiastic school where children come first.

The post holder will be an active member of the school’s improvement team, working closely with the Headteacher, senior leaders and the governors.

The role will involve the strategic leadership and management of the financial, premises, personnel and administrative aspects of the school in order that the senior leaders can focus on teaching and learning.

A strong financial/administrative background is essential. The post holder will ideally have a recognised School Business Management qualification, together with experience of managing finance, human resources, premises and support functions, ideally within a school or education setting but this is not essential.

It is an expectation that the post holder also undertakes the role of Clerk to Governors which will carry a separate remuneration.
