The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual who has a clear understanding of the expectations of the role of a Teaching Assistant, who is able to demonstrate a willingness to work as part of a team, in a growing, changing school which provides a caring, challenging and exciting environment. We are looking for candidates who are: ~ highly motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude ~ be an effective team member ~ have an uncompromising passion to secure academic and emotional progress for every child The successful applicant will work under guidance; implement work programmes for individuals/groups which could include those requiring detailed specialist knowledge in particular areas. They will assist in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. They will be able to inspire and nurture pupils within a caring, creative and stimulating environment with opportunity to develop and enhance self-learning and social skills. As a TA3 you will have: ~ the necessary skills and abilities to provide classroom cover in the absence of the class teacher ~ some recent experience of covering a whole class In addition, applicants will need to be able demonstrate that they have the ability to lead and co-ordinate a whole school activity or curriculum area whilst still maintaining their classroom responsibilities and workload.
