An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Social Worker within the Eastbourne and South Wealden Neighbourhood Support Team based at St Mary’s House. 

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate effective communication skills with knowledge of the main legislation and issues in working with adults with complex needs, e.g. ongoing, physical disability, mental ill health and dementia. 

You will have knowledge of Safeguarding Adults at Risk and Self Directed Support, and be able to demonstrate an appropriate level of understanding and sensitivity to clients and their carers. 

You will need to possess a full driving licence and have access to a car, or be able to demonstrate how you will meet the travelling requirements of the post.
