Two vacancies have arisen for Midday Supervisory Assistants to commence in September 2015. The salary will be paid at Single Status Grade 1 point 2 (13,660 per annum pro rata). We are looking for two kind and caring persons to supervise and care for our children inside or out during lunchtimes. One post is for 6.25 hours per week and is a permanent position, the other is for 7.5 hours per week to supervise a Foundation Stage child 1:1 and is a temporary post whilst the child is at the school. The ideal candidates will be able to use communication skills that children can relate to and will be able to demonstrate active listening skills. The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2009 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision.  Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2009 Regulations. If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2009 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
