About the Role
Hazel Court is an exciting and dynamic East Sussex County Council Special School for pupils with severe and profound learning disabilities and complex needs. We are co-located with The Causeway school at our Secondary School and with Sussex Downs College at our Further Education Department. This provides exciting opportunities for collaborative working and shared use of facilities.
Hazel Court is a brilliant school to work at, with a high staff commitment and dedication to getting the best possible outcomes for all the learners. Team work and collaboration are key to the progress for each individual and we work very closely with families for continuity of education and provision.
We are looking for two excellent, inspirational, motivated and dynamic class teachers who are committed to a child-centred approach to learning and who are dedicated to creating exciting, purposeful and challenging learning opportunities.
Attached to this post is a SEN allowance worth up to 2,062 per annum.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
