TEACHING ASSISTANT

Teaching Assistant Level 3 (Behaviour and Learning Mentor/SENCo Assistant)

Permanent - 30 hours per week, Term Time Only - Starting date: September 2016

The Cavendish School, Eastbourne, is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Teaching Assistant to join in the continued development and success of our Primary Phase as part of our exciting all through status. The primary phase opened in September 2015 and will be occupying a new building in September 2016.  If you have the skills, drive and enthusiasm this could be the perfect role for you. 

We are looking for an outstanding individual, who establishes and maintains the highest standards, is flexible and has the potential to get the best out of pupils.

The post holder will need to tackle any barriers to learning arising from behaviour issues and assist the implementation, monitoring and tracking of progress and inclusion of pupils.

The successful candidate will inspire, challenge and motivate children and staff.  We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who believes in creating strong, positive relationships with the children, developing them personally, socially, emotionally and academically and has the ability and determination to ensure excellent progress and to raise standards.

You will join a team of dedicated and caring staff in establishing outstanding provision, learning and progress for all our children.
