About the Role

CARETAKER & MAINTENANCE WORKER Single Status Grade 4 Points 8-10 (15,330 - 16,239) 37 hours per week all year including paid annual leave Permanent contract We are seeking to appoint a committed and proactive Caretaker & Maintenance Worker as part of our Site Management Team.

Your role will be to provide an effective caretaking service and to promote the maintenance of a safe and secure school.

You will need to demonstrate high quality building maintenance skills.

The duties are varied and include site security, maintenance and cleaning of the building, grounds and minibus.

The ability to drive a minibus or willingness to undergo training is essential.

The working hours will be operated on a rota shift system with colleagues as detailed on the job description.

Our primary phase will be occupying a new building in September 2016, so our buildings have grown. The role will be challenging but rewarding, and you will be part of a dedicated team. If you have the skills, drive and enthusiasm this could be the perfect role for you.

You will work within health and safety guidelines and will endeavour to make the school building look its best at all times.
