Southdown is passionate about maximising rights and opportunities for people with disabilities. Through our East Sussex Community Links Service, we provide support to people with Mental Health needs and /or Autism and mental health needs, to overcome obstacles that may prevent them actively participating in their communities.

Community Links Advisor, Eastbourne – Ref: CLA

The Community Links Service offers individually tailored support for people with mental health needs and/or Autism and mental health needs to engage and participate within their community and to build community resilience.

Our Advisors provide support to explore and access a variety of mainstream activities including; employment/ volunteering, education/ training, health/ leisure, arts/culture, faith/spirituality and special interests.

The successful candidate will also be expected to engage with a range of partners including mental health services, wellbeing hubs, employers and family/carers. Candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to work in a professional, positive and flexible manner and to deliver against targets.

This post requires you to be a driver with access to a car for work purposes.
