Finance Officer / Assistant Accountant

Salary £23,000-26,000pa + study support

Hove based organisation is currently seeking a bright, driven and hardworking individual to join their medium sized finance team as a Finance Officer. This person will report to a qualified Head of Finance and be given responsibility for a variety of accounts administration tasks to include accounts payable management, pensions administration, balance sheet reconciliations and assistance with month and year end processes.

This individual will be offered opportunities for further training and professional development. This client is also happy to support study support for the AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualifications to include course fees, exam fees, and study leave.

This role would suit an ambitious and career focused individual with an excellent work ethic and existing experience as a Finance or Accounts Assistant. Candidates need have good knowledge of bookkeeping, ledger accounting and general accounting. It is also necessary that they have a good grasp of Excel and professional communication skills.
