About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time (37 hours) permanent Administrative Support Assistant in Adult Social Care, Mental Health Services in Eastbourne with the Older Peoples Mental Health Team primarily and to also provide administrative support to the wider Mental Health Service.

The Mental Health Service provides health and social care support to people with complex mental health needs. Our administrators play a key role in supporting the Council - helping us provide a better service to the people of East Sussex. It’s fast-paced and varied, but we’ll make sure you get all the training and support you need to succeed. You’ll be a great communicator with strong MS Office skills and a real passion for delivering excellent customer service. In return for your commitment, we offer ongoing training and development opportunities.

Additional Information

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Please note that we require evidence of an overseas police check if you have lived or worked abroad.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.

From 6 April 2011 the Home Office has placed a permanent restriction on the number of migrant workers that all Tier 2 (General) Sponsors can recruit.
