About the Role
We require an ICT Technician at Causeway School.
This is a varied role that will ensure the Causeway School benefit from an effective, efficient ICT support service. Based at the school, you will use a variety of technologies to support the teaching and learning. It’s all about liaising with school staff, working closely with the Local Authority Schools ICT team and maintaining a ‘can do’ approach. Naturally, you’ll need proven ICT skills – both with hardware and software, but equally important is the ability to communicate well at all levels.
We believe every student can achieve exceptional outcomes. As well as achieving academically, we want them to be happy, fulfilled and successful – both at school and when they leave us to continue their education or join the world of work. Our role is to help every Causeway student become skilled, confident and committed – able to grasp new opportunities and challenges, now and in the future.
Additional Information
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
From 6 April 2011 the Home Office has placed a permanent restriction on the number of migrant workers that all Tier 2 (General) Sponsors can recruit. Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits. This authority is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff will be expected to hold or be willing to obtain Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau).
