About the Role

College Central require an enthusiastic, resilient TA to support a brand new provision based in the Eastbourne area. Working with students at significant risk of permanent exclusion, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a robust sense of humour and an interest in Outdoor Education or practical subjects.

The role will support the lead teacher in delivering innovative personalised programmes for a group of 12 students. Educational experience is desirable but an interest in supporting hard to reach students is essential.

Teaching Assistant Role 25hrs pw Grade 4 Scale 8-10 15,820 - 16,482 46 weeks Midday Supervisor 5hrs pw Grade 1 scale 2 14,506 43.95 weeks

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
