About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time (18.5hrs) Administrative Support Assistant post (single status grade 4) within Adult Social Care, East Sussex Shared Lives Scheme and East Sussex Supported Accommodation Team (SLT/SAT).
Based at St Mary’s House, Eastbourne, the successful applicant will join the current Administrative Support Assistant and will be providing administration support to a friendly and helpful team as well as offering remote admin support to the wider teams based in our other offices. This role may also involve occasionally travelling to Hastings to cover annual leave / sickness. You will be part of a Countywide administration team and as part of your development you will receive regular supervision. You will need to have experience of minute taking, excel, and inputting onto databases.
SLT/SAT is a generic service working with all client groups in Adult Social Care. This administration role is interesting and varied as you are supporting a team who recruits, assesses and monitors providers alongside assessing, matching and reviewing the accommodation and support needs for vulnerable adults in East Sussex.
Additional Information
This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Please note that we require evidence of an overseas police check if you have lived or worked abroad.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
From 6 April 2011 the Home Office has placed a permanent restriction on the number of migrant workers that all Tier 2 (General) Sponsors can recruit. Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
