About the Role

We are looking to appoint an Art & Design Technology Technician to coordinate the use of practical resources and facilities and provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the Art & Design Technology curriculum, including liaising with teaching staff and support staff within and outside the department.

This is the perfect role for someone with a background in Design Technology or Product Design, or has recent experience of being employed in a workshop or similar. Your background may be in any of the following disciplines - Food, Art or Resistant Materials - as training will be provided for a suitable applicant.

This includes the ordering, making up and setting up of materials and equipment, assisting staff and students during lessons and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
