About the Role
Hazel Court School is seeking to appoint inspirational, committed and flexible staff to work as relief Teaching Assistants and/or Midday Supervisory Assistants.
About us
Hazel Court School is a school for pupils with severe learning difficulties and complex needs. We provide a welcoming, supportive, yet challenging educational environment in which the pupils have every opportunity to achieve, be successful, and make choices for themselves, with support from the whole school team.
We work in partnership with parents / carers and other professionals, to monitor and meet the ever changing individual educational needs of each pupil, in an inclusive a setting as is appropriate.
Your role
As a Relief Teaching Assistant you will be required to support pupils with a wide range of learning and personal care needs. We require flexible staff who are able to work with a range of pupils and students across the whole school. The Relief TA1 positions will be paid on Single Status 2 (14,619 to 14,769).
Being a member of the supply team means that you need to be available to work at short notice to cover staff absence. An MSA’s role is to work over the lunch time period which we see as a valuable teaching time for our learners. The Relief MDSA positions will be paid on Single Status 1 (14,506).
You don’t necessarily need experience just a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
For more details and an application form please look at our website or email Della Wilkinson
