About the Role

Inspirational EYFS Teacher needed (Part Time: Wednesdays and Thursdays) We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Foundation Stage teacher who is committed to each child reaching their full potential through the delivery of a nurturing, challenging and exciting curriculum.

We want our children to be inspired and supported to become confident and independent learners. Therefore, a secure understanding of the ‘Characteristics of Effective Learning’ is essential. We operate a fully integrated and well regarded Foundation Stage Unit which consists of the school nursery and three Reception classes.  It is therefore crucial that the successful candidate has a thorough working knowledge of the EYFS and an understanding of the principles that underpin Early Years Education.

Langney Primary School is a caring, and nurturing school that is passionate about inclusion and determined to help every child succeed. Our pupils behave well and show excellent attitudes to both their learning and relationships with others.

If you would like to join our welcoming, friendly and supportive team then we look forward to hearing from you. Langney is a rewarding and happy place to be!

The post is for two days job-sharing in a Reception/KS1 Class (Wednesdays and Thursdays).  For the right candidate there is also an opportunity to teach job-share in a Year 4 class one day per week (Fridays).

Visits to the school and informal discussions are most welcome – please contact the school office.

Additional Information

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.

Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
