About the Role
Buzz Active are recruiting for a range of staff for the 2017 season , we are looking for staff available to start from Late March, and early June. Successful candidates will have qualifications in at least one or more of the following. RYA sailing, RYA windsurfing start or intermediate. British Canoeing paddle sport level one two of three, BSUPA level one or two Stand up paddle board instructors. Successful candidates will be expected to work weekends and evenings as a core part of their role, working up to 6 days a week in peak season.
Candidates will be delivering national governing body accredited courses and sessions to a wide range of clients from the local community and wider areas. A key part of the centers offer is supporting and working with Schools and community organisations in the local area, as well as delivering sessions to a wide range of overseas students. We run a membership and have a thriving T15 and OnBoard sailing club as well as a dedicated adult membership. The center is based on two sites, Eastbourne is a sail sport and power boating hub based on the seafront, with access to a boating lake adjacent to the site and the Cuckmere is a paddle sport hub based on the river Cuckmere meanders, a set of Oxbow lakes just 1.5 miles from the coast. Staff with relevant qualifications may be asked to work across both venues.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
