About the Role

Motor Vehicle Teaching Assistant / Pupil Premium Champion

We are looking for an outstanding teaching assistant to support and help improve the vocational experience of our pupils, particularly our Pupil Premium and most vulnerable children.

The post holder will predominantly work at our specialist Motor Vehicle provision in Lottbridge Drove, Eastbourne.  Their role will be to support the practical and theory teaching of the Motor Vehicle Instructor in the capacity of teaching assistant.

The post will initially be for 30 hours per week to be worked on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, school term time only.

Applicants should have relevant experience of working with young people; a passion for enhancing the educational experience of vulnerable children and an interest in Motor Vehicle.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
