About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Ratton School in a role dedicated to helping pupils develop their full potential. If you are adept at establishing positive relationships and have high expectations of yourself and others we would love to hear from you. The job description and person specification in this pack describe what the post entails and the type of person we are looking for. This position is term time only for 35.5 hours per week (8.30am-4.30pm Monday and 8.30-4pm Tuesdays to Fridays with a 30 minute unpaid break daily). The post is to lead and co-ordinate the work of the Teaching Assistants within the school and to work as a Teaching Assistant (Levels 1-3) as required. Previous knowledge or interest/experience in working with children as a Teaching Assistant will be essential. Qualifications or experience of working with children with a range of specific learning difficulties is desirable. The successful applicant must enjoy the challenges and demands of working within a busy team supporting the learning of pupils.
