About the Role
We would like to welcome a new Class Teacher to our enthusiastic and high performing staff team, to cover a Key Stage 2 class while the teacher is on maternity leave. We are a school committed to giving every one of our pupils the best possible opportunities during their primary years and beyond.
Our curriculum is varied and hands-on, and we encourage a "can-do" attitude, rewarding good work, good behaviour and positive outcomes for pupils and staff alike. We have wonderful facilities, both in our roomy building and in our outdoor areas, including two playgrounds, a good-sized field and pond area. We share our school with goats, chickens, budgies, guinea pigs, lizards, tortoises, fish and many more animals!
We expect teachers to deliver outstanding lessons and we offer plenty of professional development opportunities, both in house and further afield. We are part of a multi academy trust and communication between our family of schools creates plenty of scope to compare and display good practice in each.
If you have a positive, forward-thinking attitude to teaching, and would like to be part of our team, please feel free to arrange a visit to the school and see what we do.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Additional Information
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System. From 6 April 2011 the Home Office has placed a permanent restriction on the number of migrant workers that all Tier 2 (General) Sponsors can recruit. Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits. The Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff will be expected to hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau).
