About the Role

The Inclusion, Special Educational Needs and Disability (ISEND) Provision Administration Team has a vacancy for a motivated administrator, able to use own initiative, with the ability to work both independently and under pressure. You will be based at St Mark's House, Upperton Road, Eastbourne.  This fixed term role is to provide maternity leave cover.

Our administrators play a key role in supporting the Council - helping us provide a better service to the people of East Sussex. It’s fast-paced and varied, but we’ll make sure you get all the training and support you need to succeed. You’ll be a great communicator with strong MS Office skills and a real passion for delivering excellent customer service. In return for your commitment, we offer ongoing training and development opportunities.

Additional Information

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Please note that we require evidence of an overseas police check if you have lived or worked abroad.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
