About the Role

We are looking to appoint an Individual Need Assistant to join the team at Willingdon Primary School. Working under the guidance of the Inclusion Manager This role will involve working with two different children who have similar needs, one in the morning and one if the afternoon.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working with children with ASD, ADHD, challenging behaviour and social and emotional needs.

You will need to be able to build a positive, professional relationship whilst remaining calm under pressure.

This is an inclusive school which was graded as ‘Good’ in our recent Ofsted inspection.

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2009 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision.  Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2009 Regulations.
