About the Role
HEAD OF GEOGRAPHY
Salary: TMS / UPS + TLR 2c 6,450
Required September 2017
We seek an inspirational subject leader of Geography with the ability to lead and develop excellent Geography teaching.
Our current Head of Department is an experienced practitioner, having been Head of Geography at the college for the past 25 years. He is retiring at the end of the academic year, hence our vacancy.
Lessons are taught in a suite of modern and large classrooms equipped with appropriate technology and resources. All of the classrooms are equipped with a Promethean Interactive Whiteboard.
The Geography Department regularly organise exciting trips for pupils including Iceland; London Wetlands; trips to Brighton; Hastings; Bluewater; London museums; and local visits.
