Working pattern: Part-time

We have a part time position available which is for 18 hours a week.
Monday and Friday 08.30 - 13.30, Tuesday and Wednesday 08.30 - 12.30.

About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is a good communicator, a strong team player, works well under pressure, is a fast learner and has an enthusiasm for technology and putting the customer first.
You will be providing predominantly 1st line IT support to ESCC employees and employees of other partner agencies across a variety of IT Systems and environments. You will be the first point of contact for the customer, an attention to detail is essential when triaging and logging their ICT issue, as is a friendly and professional phone manner.
The majority of enquiries we deal with are via telephone call, with the busiest periods been within the mornings. We also have a self service portal which customers can log a ticket to us in their own time, and we are currently developing a live time chat tool.
Been a large local authority we have many applications and technology that you'll be supporting on a daily basis. O/S's, hardware, and applications include;
- Windows 7
- Windows 8.1
- Citrix
- Lenovo Hybrids
- Dell Laptops
- Microsoft Office 2010 Including OneNote
- SharePoint 2013
- Cisco IP Phones
- Microsoft Smartphones
Additional Information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
