About the Role

Are you looking for the next step in your ICT career?  If you have good experience and knowledge of ICT systems and equipment, we want to hear from you.  We are looking for a Senior Technician to join our growing, friendly and hardworking team.

Covering everything from desktop, network and server work to installations, maintenance, event and problem management. This is a central and varied role that will ensure our customers benefit from an effective, efficient ICT support service. You will use a variety of remote technologies to undertake a 2nd line support function as well as mentoring junior colleagues.

A large element of this job is building professional relationships and delivering high quality customer service.  It’s all about liaising with customers, working closely with fellow team members and meeting SLA’s.  Naturally, you’ll need proven ICT skills – both with hardware and software, but equally important is the ability to communicate well at all levels.

This role is based in Eastbourne but may involve travel in rural and urban areas in the South East, and applicants must clearly demonstrate how they will meet the travel requirements of the post.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Please note that we require evidence of an overseas police check if you have lived or worked abroad.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
