About the Role

East Sussex Qualification & Assessment Centre (ESQAC) offers a wide range of vocation qualifications and Apprenticeships to meet the needs of the council’s services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join the ESQAC team as a Qualification and Assessment Officer. We are looking for professionals with  occupational knowledge and experience of working in Adult Social Care. You will need excellent communication and organisational skills and you will need to be a qualified Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) or be prepared to work towards this qualification.

The role also involves the development and delivery of training and Apprenticeships.

Additional Information

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Please note that we require evidence of an overseas police check if you have lived or worked abroad.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
