About the Role
INDIVIDUAL NEEDS ASSISTANT
30 HOUR PER WEEK. TERM TIME ONLY
Please note that this is a fixed term post linked to the pupil for whom the postholder is the INA.
We require an Individual Needs Assistant with effect from September 2017 to assist in promoting the learning and personal development of the pupil to whom you are assigned, to enable them to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them at St Catherine's College.
The pupil you will be working with is in Year 9 and will require physical support from her INA, helping her around the school, use of lifts, carrying her school bag for her at all times. In addition the pupil undertakes daily physiotherapy exercises which require supervision. At times it may also be necessary to medically assist the pupil, such as providing icepacks and assisting her mobility.
