About the Role

The Governing Bodies for Plumpton Primary School, Hamsey Community Primary School and Barcombe CE Primary School have agreed to form a Federation beginning from June 2017. This newly formed Federation will offer many opportunities for collaborative work, to inspire innovative practice and professional development.  Are you ready for the challenge?

We have an exciting opportunity for an aspirational leader to play a key role, with excellent career prospects. Applications are invited from experienced teachers with the skills and desire to lead others and raise standards in teaching and learning. We are seeking that special person who will be based at Plumpton Primary School, and who will support us in continuing to provide an excellent standard of education whilst driving school improvement forward.  You will be an outstanding teaching and learning practitioner with the skills to translate this into higher standards and excellent attainment.  The role will have a class teaching responsibility of up to three days a week.

Working with our Executive Head Teacher, you will be responsible for translating a clearly articulated vision into action.  You will help lead and manage the school day-to-day and work as part of a team in the strategic direction of the school.

We are looking for a dynamic Head of School to join us at Plumpton Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in the future development of this popular and friendly primary school.   The successful candidate will:
